Getting A Low Rate Auto Loan

Flint454585 asked:

If you are in the market for a used car loan, be prepared to negotiate a good deal. Initially, car salesmen try and convince prospective buyers to agree to a huge sales price and interest rate. Of course, this maneuver does not serve to your advantage. Instead, it boosts the dealerships profit margin. If you have good credit, you are in a position to negotiate a better deal. However, if you have a low credit score, here are a few tips to help you obtain a low rate auto loan. Boost Credit Score and Rating Before offering a low rate for a used auto loan, the dealership or financial institution will review your credit report. Credit reports indicate our credit worthiness. If you have several past due or missed payments, lenders will consider you a terrible applicant. If you are approved for credit, the lender will not offer you a low rate. Improving your credit is the best option for getting a low rate used car loan. Although lenders will approve an applicant with bad credit, the fees, rate, and terms are awful. To avoid paying higher fees, delay the car buying process for at least six months to a year. Take this time to boost your credit score. To begin, review your personal credit report. If you have past due or unpaid accounts, contact the creditors and schedule payment arrangements. Plan to reduce your debt to income ratio. Furthermore, pay all your creditors on time, and never skip payments. Get a Co-signer or Down Payment If you have bad credit, having a co-signer is a

buying a new or used vehicle with bad credit?

stephanie b asked:

Ok I want to buy a vehicle but I have poor credit currently I am working to build my score, What Im wanting to know is
what is the Standard interest rate for someone with poor credit?
Should I go to several dealers or just stick with one ?
Do they all follow the basic guidelines for wheeling and dealing?
I have been back to work for the past 7 months, My income is fairly good
I am paying on my bills but I guess it will take time for it to come off my credit report so Im worried when i go apply for a vehicle new or used they will see my past and offer the highest possible Interest rate. What can I expect?
Should I try the bank 1st or maybe get a personal loan
I dont want to be stuck paying for a vehicle that is going to cost me more than it is actually worth but I suppose if this is my only choice due to my neglecting my credit in the past I will have to bite the bullet, but Im hoping someone out there has had the same exp and willing to share advice
thank you

Which Credit Bureau Should I Use To Check My Credit Report?

Beth Pardue asked:

There are three main credit bureaus in the United States; Equifax, Experian and Trans Union. Each bureau collects your personal and financial information which is then sold to lenders such as banks, credit unions, credit card companies, mortgage and auto loan lenders. Your credit report is the product of this collected information. Lending and credit companies use your credit information to determine if they will approve you or not and at what interest rate you will pay.

Many people are recognizing the importance of checking their own credit report to verify its accuracy and to make sure that they know where they stand in the credit world. Until they begin the process to obtain a copy of their credit report, some people do not realize that they actually have three credit reports instead of just one. The three main credit bureaus keep separate credit records from one another and produce their own credit reports. Instead of the credit bureaus working together and sharing information among themselves like some people may think, they are actually competitors. That is why the information provided on one credit report will more than likely be different from the information provided on the credit report from another credit bureau. Therefore, it is recommended to check your credit report from all three credit bureaus in order to see the complete picture.

There are a couple of options to checking all three of your credit reports. You can contact each of the credit bureaus individually to request a copy. Or you can go through one of the many companies that provide a 3-in-1 credit report like [http://www.credit-report-credit-score.com]. Obtaining a 3-in-1 credit report is usually more convenient and user friendly to the consumer compared to requesting individual copies.

Verifying the data on all three of your credit reports is the only way to know that the information that potential lenders and creditors are evaluating you on is correct. When considering you for a loan, some lenders will pull your credit report from only one or two of the credit bureaus while other lenders will pull your credit report from all three. It is always a good idea to check your credit reports BEFORE applying for your next big purchase. Covering your bases beforehand can often times save you a lot of time and hassle during the application process.

Why isn’t the mortgage showing up on my credit report?

chocolate asked:

Several years ago we made a decision to purchase a house in my spouses name only, to get the lowest possible interest rate. Five years later, we refinanced and added my name to the deed only. Two years later, we contacted the mortgage company and asked if I could placed on the loan. We paid a small fee, forwarded a copy of our marriage license and the notarized document (with all of my personal information (ssn, dob, etc.) stating we were tenants by entirety to the assumption department. My name has been added to the mortgage statement, but it has been a year and half and it is still not showing up on my credit report. I noticed that they have pulled my credit report several times and when i call they say it’s done. Not sure what else to do.

Can I sue for wrong information on my credit report? pleease help?

shortbaby189 asked:

i have a huge mess with my credit report. Let me begin my explaining the situation. Im a twin and my sister and i have exactly the same personal information with the exception of the last 2 numbers of our social security number and ONe letter difference in our entire name.. mine is iris and hers is ivis. no middle name and same last name, same date of birth same everything.
I noticed there was a problem with my credit when i started having trouble getting a car loan approved this year. when the sales man printed a copy of my report i noticed that all of my sisters credit history and mine were all on ONE report as if we were just one person. Ive been having a lot of trouble with getting approved for loans and i tried fixing it through the credit unions. Its been a year and i havnt seen any progress.
when i was approved for a car loan i was given a super jhigh interest rate and i dont think its fair. It also says my birth year is 85 when its actually 87. Can I sue? What do i do?
I live in Florida… in case that changes anything.
