I would only get one from a bank, if you can try a credit union and/or have someone you trust co-sign. I had to do that when i needed a car loan. if you make all your payments on time this will help your score go up

look up finance companies in phone book – rate will probably not be much less than your credit cards, but it will have a fixed number of payments, which means it may cost you more each month than you are currently paying, but you will actually see light at the end of the tunnel
