Q&A: Does taking out a small bussiness loan go on your personal credit report?

Question by Jason K: Does taking out a small bussiness loan go on your personal credit report?
I have recently joined a LLC which will be taking out a loan for the business. I will not be garunteeing the loan, (another partner is doing this) but wonder if it will affect my personal purchases in the future (mortgage, cars, etc). Thanks

Hello. I am also a member of a LLC. We took out a RLOC with a local bank, and I have not found that it influences my credit rating. However, I don’t have any real proof. I think the outflank way to find out for sure would be to get a detailed copy of your ascribe report and check the open accounts section. If your RLOC is name, then you know your lent is being used to evaluate your personal credit. Hope that helps.
