Randall

A few years ago my score was below 750 and I was approved for a corporate card. Also, my roommate had a score well below yours and was able to get a corporate card. I know that they do not weigh decisions as heavily when it is a corporate card. One reason is when the application is filled out, the company requesting the card can decide to overlook certain requirements. For instance, my old company filed the application for my corporate card, and did not check to see if I had previous Amex cards. When I applied for my corporate card at Amex, they DID take my history with Amex into consideration. You can have a corporate card and still be denied a personal card with Amex.

Also, If the balance goes unpaid on a corporate card, it takes a lot longer for a delinquency to hit your credit. This does not guarantee that you will get a card, but you have a better chance because your company is is applying for you.

Good luck.

Hi,
The best way to improve your credit is to take a secured credit card and start paying out the monthly balances promptly. Within 6- 8 months your credit will automatically improve. Please don't fall into the trap of credit repair scams. For secured credit cards for bad credit, check out

Philip

Probably none.

See, if you applied for any kind of insurance with them, you signed permission for them to obtain your credit report. Whoever it is you think they disclosed to, most likely had legal interest, or had a different paper signed by you, to release it.

On the potential client - what KIND of client?

Your question is so vague, it's going to be almost impossible to get an answer, so you'll either have to post the relationship between all parties involved, or consult an attorney.

See, if you applied with the company, for instance, for a job, on the application they asked permission to check your information, including credit. If the third party was your legal guardian, they could have legal access. And if your potential client was also an employee of the company, they have prior permission based on the form you signed when you applied for the job.

gather all your evidence is the first step. then you file a complain with the insurance company, or you can engage legal services and sue this agent.

Sara

Prepaid cards (secured cards) have monthly fees, and the money you spend is yours because you need to transfer money to your card before spending.

A prepaid card (Visa, Mastercard or others) is one of many things you can do to rebuild your credit.

For more, there you go :

Good luck !

Amy

Either it's a business account and you are an authorized user or it's a personal account in your name. It can't be both.

I don't understand why you would have to have a specific American Express card, if you must submit a expense report for reimbursement. Seems you would be able to use any of your own personal credit cards. I use to get $300 to $400 cashback on my personal cards from business travel.

Terry

This is a very safe site. It's the one set up by the government to check your credit reports from all three main bureaus. However, you do have to go through a bit of advertising to get to your free report, so a little care is in order. They will confirm social, alternative address or name info; some item that only you should know, before you have access to your report. But it's a worthwhile site. Just don't agree to sign up for any of the advertising offers and you will be fine. And it's secure.

Jack

Bad credit is one of the worst problems to have... however there exists a solution.

I will hereby talk from my personal experience.

I did debt consolidation a couple of years ago, however If I had to do it again I would pay to some minor details,
if someone wants to get out of debt today it is pretty easy with a debt consolidation plan, however it may get a bit tricky at times, I suggest you get as much information as possible online on this first,

a good place to start in my humble opinion is astraight to the point ebook with question and answer I found :

if it helps kindly remember me in your voting!.. cheers!

Tonya

No company wants to give you a credit report without being paid.

The companies that advertise "free" reports give you a report only if you subscribe to a service that costs more than a report.

You can get a free report at because it is required by the government to give free reports.

Dale

Many will give you your credit report for free but only if you sign up and pay for a credit monitoring service. That can be big bucks. Some may be scam phishing attempts to get your personal information.

If you want your credit reports go to and get it free with no strings attached.
